The Wales Ambassador for the Strengthening Disabled People’s User Led Organisations (DPULO’s) programme is Cerrys Hill. Her role as Ambassador for the programme is to promote the benefits of DPULO’s and to offer assistance to those in the georgraphical areas of Wales. The four year programme was launched on 20th July 2011 by the Minister for Disabled People, Maria Miller, to strengthen DPULO’s and promote growth and improve the sustainability of user led organisations.The programme will also allow user led organisations to access a £3 million Facilitation Fund to support this. Cerrys would like your help to let people know she is in post and ready to help.
Disabled People’s Organisations in Wales (People First Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil Institute for the Blind, People First Vale of Glamorgan) have already financially benefited from this programme and you could too.
