An innovated comedy featuring fully integrated audio description for visually impaired and sighted audiences to enjoy alike – so throw away those headsets – we’re all in this together…

When a clueless, but very well-intentioned theatre company attempt to stage their interpretation of an Oscar Wilde classic, objectivity, tradition, British politeness, handbags and several cups of tea fly out the window.

Moved and inspired by the tragedy of Dame Judi Dench’s macular degeneration and one of the cast’s confusion over what varifocals are, Eye, Claudius Theatre Company have toiled tirelessly to present their work in an ‘inclusive’ way. Brace yourself for a romping hour of song, sound effects, deft physicality and live audio description from every character that will transport you into the midst of a delicious, romantic melodrama such as you’ve never experienced before!
