Marketing and Communications Manager
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications manager who can join us as we develop new shows, re-imagine existing shows for new audiences and help raise our profile as the forerunners of inclusive circus.
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 pro rata, dependent on experience
Hours: 18 – 20 hours per week
Contract: 6 months probation followed by rolling contract
Reports to: Extraordinary Bodies Artistic Directors
Employed by: Cirque Bijou
Location: Based in our Bristol office, with some flexibility for remote working. You will be working closely with our partners Diverse City, which will necessitate occasional travel throughout the south of England.
You will be focused on the Extraordinary Bodies artistic programme, identifying future opportunities and developing partnerships with external organisations. You’ll be at ease liaising with venues, marketing tours, managing assets and marketing distribution, and developing new audiences. Most of all you’ll be comfortable with partnership working and identifying accessible marketing strategies that work for everyone.
This role is employed within Cirque Bijou but you will work very closely with our partners at Diverse City to ensure we are delivering for all our stakeholders.
An exceptional multi-tasker and communicator, you’ll have an eye for opportunity, a flair for strategy and the ability to network, plan and work alongside a wide range of people in a fun and driven environment.
