Hyde Park on Hudson – Mon 4th March 8.30pm

In June 1939, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt hosts the King and Queen of England for a weekend at the Roosevelt home at Hyde Park on Hudson. But international affairs must be juggled with the complexities of FDR’s domestic establishment, as wife, mother, and mistresses all conspire to make the royal weekend an unforgettable one.

Hitchcock – Tues 12th March 8.30pm

Hitchcock is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho, the controversial horror film that subsequently became one of the most acclaimed and influential works in the filmmaker’s career.

Cloud Atlas – Sun 24th March 7.45pm

One of the most ambitious, expensive, critically discussed, dauntingly dense, mash-ups of formal literary ambition and cinematic pulp fiction in years.  Independently produced, this reasonably faithful adaptation of David Mitchell’s sci-fi novel relates six stories taking place between the years 1849 and 2346. With wonderful performances from Tom Hanks, Jim Broadbent and Halle Berry anchoring the visual spectacle, this is an awe-inspiring journey not to be missed.

Les Miserables – Tue 2nd April time TBC

Back by popular demand, Hooper [The King’s Speech, The Damned United] has brought this well-loved musical and novel to the screen with a star-studded ensemble cast.
