Arts and Business Award for DAC’s Treasurer

Congratulations to our Honorary Treasurer Joanne Taylor

Jo was awarded the 2018 Grant Stephens Family Law Adviser Award at the Arts and Business Cymru awards last week for her outstanding contribution as a Board member of DAC. Jo has advised and supported DAC since joining us as a Co-Opted Trustee in September 2013 and becoming our Treasurer in October 2015. Jo has shown her commitment to the organisation through her input to business plans; action plans; structural review; and attendance at away days, meetings and events; working hard to establish a long-term future for DAC. In addition to helping the organisation introduce transparent, streamlined financial processes, Jo has recently led the organisation through registration as a CIO and helped recruit a new Finance Officer and a New Director. Jo is a Charities and Not for Profit Senior Manager for Broomfield Alexander in Newport and we are thrilled that her input has been recognised by the awards panel at Arts and Business Cymru.

May we also take this opportunity to recognise the enormous input that Jo Taylor has made to the future stability of DAC, to congratulate her on her award and to extend a huge thank you to her.
