If you’re planning to organise an event as part of Voluntary Festival Week or simply want to welcome new participants to your group, join Voluntary Arts Wales at our training day in Colwyn Bay on 27 April 2017.  

This free course will provide you with practical guidance about organising events which are inclusive and engaging.

Who is the training for?

This event is aimed at people in arts and cultural groups who have a responsibility or interest in organising events, public taster sessions, workshops or performances.

Learning outcomes

The training will help you: 

  • identify the key elements that will make your events more accessible and relevant to a diverse range of people
  • design events to share and showcase your creative activity
  • open your doors to new participants or volunteers, so that the benefits of creative activity can be experienced by more people

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your thoughts and concerns, and we’ll have some creative fun too!

This event will be delivered through the medium of English.

This free course will provide you with practical guidance about organising events which are inclusive and engaging.

Who is the training for?

This event is aimed at people in arts and cultural groups who have a responsibility or interest in organising events, public taster sessions, workshops or performances.

Learning outcomes

The training will help you to:

Social Media Training for Arts Groups

Voluntary Arts WalesDesigned specifically for arts and cultural groups, this course will help you engage more effectively with your online audience

If you’re already using social media to engage with the public but would like to know how to create more engaging content, improve your reach and discover some new ideas and free tools, this training event is for you!

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Build upon your existing social media skills to use them more effectively
  • Create interesting and engaging content to meet your audience’s needs
  • Use free online tools to create innovative and dynamic content
  • Learn how to incorporate online activities into your day-to-day engagement work

Who is this course for?

This session is for voluntary arts groups who are already using social media to engage with the public, and would like to know how to improve their content and reach.
