Are you based in Wales, Do you love to dance? Teach Dance?
We have a course for you and bursary opportunity to allow you to attend for only £60, instead of £480!
The Inclusive Dance Training course provides an ideal foundation for the first step into the world of Inclusive Dance. This course will provide you with a base knowledge in basic physiology, disability and impairments and mobility and sensory aids. You will learn how to safely support participants using this equipment, along with instruction techniques, suitable non- genre specific choreography and communications and how to set up and run a group or integrate this into existing facilities.
This modular course can be tailored to your previous experience and ensures that you can access the learning that you need to develop as a reflective practitioner. The course combines on-line learning and assessment via feedback by an independent assessor alongside 3 days of practical experience and summative assessment.
The IDT is suitable for anyone with an interest in the subject and applications are welcome from people with any level of experience; however, please remember this is a training course with the aims of you independently instructing individuals or groups that would like to participate in inclusive dance.
