Have a look at the Web Site

Outside In art galleryOutside In is an arts agency providing a platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world either because of mental health issues, disability, health, social circumstance or because their work does not conform to what is normally considered as art.

Outside In is based within Pallant House Gallery, Chichester, West Sussex. Pallant House Gallery is a unique combination of an historic Queen Anne townhouse and contemporary extension. The Gallery houses one of the best collections of Modern British Art in the country. Widely acclaimed for its innovative temporary exhibitions and exemplary Learning and Community Programme which has inclusion at its heart, the Gallery has won numerous awards since re-opening in 2006.

Outside In has no set creative criteria, boundary in art process or limit on subject for the artists that choose to align themselves with the project. There is no restriction for creating an online gallery or entering Outside In competitions for content, process or size!

What does Outside In offer?

  • A community of like-minded artists
  • Opportunities to have an online presence
  • The chance to take part in National art competitions and exhibitions
  • Information, advice and support to develop as an artist

Please see the ‘Get involved’ section on how to join up to Outside In as an artist, either online (http://www.outsidein.org.uk/about_2012) or through a paper application form.
