Calling all Crafty Creatives!

Kirstie Allsopp is back with a 2018 Christmas series for Channel 4, and Raise the Roof Productions is searching for the UK’s most talented makers to feature in the show, filming at their home or studio, or to compete in our festive competitions, filming with Kirstie at a special location.  Previous crafters have wowed with their skills at blacksmithing and metal work, knitting, wood carving, ice sculpting, glass blowing, flower arranging, printing and letterpress, ceramics, carpentry and furniture making, cake decorating, pyrography and more! Are your skills worthy of a spot on the show, or could you be a contender for any of these titles?

This year’s craft competitions are:

  3. Cake decorating
  4. Stocking making
  5. Best Christmas Hamper
  6. Best handmade toy
  7. Best hand knitted Christmas Jumper
  8. Best Christmas paper craft
  9. Best handmade wreath
  10. Best handmade gift
  11. Best handmade Decorations
  12. Best handmade advent calendar
  13. Best handmade table dressing
  14. Best Christmas needlecraft (to include all sewing crafts)
  15. Best Handmade Pet Gift

WHO’S IT FOR?

  • 18+ (You can be 17, but will need to be 18 by September to be a part of Apprenticeship scheme)
  • You don’t need any experience – this is important, you don’t need to have done a university degree, or had extensive experience in a work placement – this is a chance for you to learn and get your foot in the door
