Roy Bamford

Roy won first prize at the Nuneaton Festival of Arts 1970 (Sculpture), but relinquished his artistic career to train as an Aeronauticle Engineer with the RAF. Following a disabling injury he was medically discharged. This allowed him time to pursue his artistic leanings, and he has had several national exhibitions. His work is varied in style, and much admired, with collectors as far away as Oman; USA & Canada. Roy has designed artwork for music CD’s and has also been asked to design achievement awards for a large national company.
Roy was nominated for the 1994 Turner Prize.
