Spring into the New Year with The Riverfront

Riverfront Following a momentous 2015, which saw them achieve record-breaking attendance figures and form a major part of Newport Live, they begin 2016 with a jam-packed season of events, performances, cinema screenings and workshops.

But let’s hold our horses for a moment – have you sorted out all your Christmas shopping yet? Newport Live can offer you a range of ideal Christmas presents for all the family:

From chuckles with the hilarious Debra Stephenson for the comedy queen in your life, to the heart-warming tale of rugby legend Ray Grav Gravell – a perfect present for Dads and Grandads – The Riverfront has got some cracking Christmas pressies lined up. There’s even something for the li’l ‘uns in the form of the colourful and kooky Shiny – a unique participatory performance where all that glitters unfolds before your very eyes.

2016 is also set to be a great year in the music stakes. With top-class tribute acts such as Whitney: Queen of the Night, Frankie Valli celebrators The Sherry Babys and the utterly brilliant A Night of Queen – The Bohemians  rocking the Springtime stage, as well as the return of classical music favourites Sinfonia Cymru, there truly is something to cater to everyone’s musical taste.
