Disability Arts Cymru – AGM 15th October

Dear DAC Member

TUESDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2013 at 2.30pm

Our thirty first Annual General Meeting has been arranged for Tuesday 15th October in The Media Point, Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, CARDIFF CF5 1QE

2012-2013 was an exciting year full of large scale events marking the culmination of our Legacy Trust UK “Whose Flame is it Anyway” projects. We saw the Unusual Stage School production of “Birds” on stage at the Sherman Theatre; our “Whose Flame is it Anyway” Anthology and Go Get Started Visual Art Exhibition was launched at the Norwegian Church, Cardiff. The “Go Get” Postcards were distributed across Wales and our “Whose Flame” partners UCAN Productions toured with “Breaking the Wall” and the Swica/DAC Carnival Parade took place in August.

In October 2012 DAC marked up 30th years, so beginning a year celebrating this achievement.

We look forward to seeing you at the AGM and, if you have not had the opportunity to do so before, we would be delighted to meet you.
