Voluntary Arts WalesAim: to develop skills in organising creative events that will welcome new members

If you’re planning to organise an event as part of Get Creative or Voluntary Arts Festival, or simply want to welcome new participants to your group, join us at one of our forthcoming training days. This free course will provide you with practical guidance about organising events which are inclusive and engaging.

Who is the training for?

This event is aimed at people in arts and cultural groups who have a responsibility or interest in organising events, public taster sessions, workshops or performances.

Learning outcomes

The training will help you to:

  • identify the key elements that will make your events more accessible and relevant to a diverse range of people
  • design events that share and showcase your creative activity
  • open your doors to new participants or volunteers, so that the benefits of creative activity can be experienced by more people

The training day will be an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your thoughts and concerns, and we’ll have some creative fun too! 

This event will be delivered through the medium of English.

The course starts at 9.30 and will finish by 16.00. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
