Creative Apprenticeships in Wales unpacked: An event for employers and careers advisers

Creative and cultural skillsWednesday 5 April 2017

Do you have questions about apprenticeships?  Are you keen to employ a young person and ensure they have the skills you need?

We are delighted to invite you to attend ‘Creative Apprenticeships unpacked’: An event for employers and careers advisers, which is taking place at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, on Wednesday 5 April between 11am – 2pm.

This drop-in event will explain the support and resources available, and introduce new programmes which you could be part of. We can help answer the big questions about creating an apprenticeship, such as funding, employment, recruitment, business benefits, and how you can work with a college to coordinate the training.

Who will be there?
A number of employers, and their Apprentices, will have stands at this event and be available to discuss their experiences.  Employer stands include Wales Millennium Centre, Welsh National Opera, The National Museums Wales, and Motorpoint. Information stands will also help you to understand more about the steps required to employ a young person as an apprentice. These will include Creative & Cultural Skills, Arts Council Wales, Cardiff & Vale College, BECTU and Careers Wales.

Book now to:

  • Access industry led CPD on training within the creative sector
  • Gain a unique insight into the Wales Millennium Centre with a behind the scenes tour
  • Join panel discussions through the event on how Apprenticeships work, support your operations, and make business sense.
