Hitchcock is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. Cloud Atlas – Sun 24th March 7.45pm
One of the most ambitious, expensive, critically discussed, dauntingly dense, mash-ups of formal literary ambition and cinematic pulp fiction in years. Independently produced, this reasonably faithful adaptation of David Mitchell’s sci-fi novel relates six stories taking place between the years 1849 and 2346. With wonderful performances from Tom Hanks, Jim Broadbent and Halle Berry anchoring the visual spectacle, this is an awe-inspiring journey not to be missed.
