Beacon Climbing Project

Adaptive Climbing Project

Outdoor partnership

Open Day

Monday 6th March 11am

Beacon Climbing Centre, Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon LL55 2BD

Come along and experience climbing at the Beacon Climbing Centre. We have specialist qualified and experienced instructors and equipment designed to make climbing accessible. A vertical hoist will be used to enable wheelchair users or those with lower limb impairments to participate.

What is it all about?

The aim of the project is to contribute towards improving the health of disabled people in North West Wales by giving individuals the opportunity to participate in an adventurous activity.

Following the open day, families, individuals, groups, schools and local outdoor activity centres will be able to access the adaptive equipment through the Beacon Climbing Centre.

This project has been made a reality through collaboration between The Outdoor Partnership and the Beacon Climbing Centre and made possible as a result of funding from People’s Postcode Trust, Children in Need and Sport Wales.
