World Autism Awareness Week

DVSC is facilitating a Denbighshire wide social media Autism Awareness Community Engagement campaign to coincide with World Autism Awareness Week which runs from 26th March to 2nd April, in partnership with the North Wales Integrated Autism Service. We would like to encourage all DVSC members and partners to join us in raising awareness about Autism in the week running up to World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April.

Plans are afoot to make the DVSC offices and building as autism friendly as we can in a short space of time. We are drawing on the following expertise and resources and the ‘Can you see me’ campaign.  Why not look at the information and try to do the same for your offices or community centre?

We know it’s short notice. It has been for us too to get everything ready in a short space of time. But together, we can learn, raise our own awareness, and that of others, and raise the profile of an important hidden disability.
