Celf -Able

Disabled-led inclusive art group Celf-Able have had a grant from Arts Council of Wales ‘Sharing Together’ fund to set up an online community looking at the role the arts can play in promoting social inclusion. 

 

 

 

The site will be a place to share ideas and experiences, and is open to anyone and any organisation with an interest in art and social inclusion.  To have a look and join go to www.celf-able.ning.com.

Celf-Able will be holding meetings at The Institute, Llanfair Caereinion 10.00 – 2.00 November 28th, December 12th,

Warren Room, Care Centre Machynlleth 11.00 – 3.00 December 6th, 20th,

Siawns Teg, Newtown (former Radio Maldwyn building) 11.00 -3.00 November 21st, December 5th, 19th,

Oriel Davies, Newtown 11.00 – 3.00 January 30th 2018. 

In addition, we will be holding our Annual General Meeting on January 9th 2018 at Oriel Davies, Newtown from 11-1, followed by an open art session 1-3.   

We welcome all, disabled and non-disabled, artists and those who just want to have a go at art.  Materials provided, there is a small charge of £2.

 

 

People Dancing

New Website

people-dancingWith our web traffic stats having more than doubled, early indicators for the new-look People Dancing website have proved very positive.

The bolder, more image driven site has been designed for easier navigation, presenting all the latest People Dancing content in the key areas of developing dance practice, developing dance participation and membership services, including the facility to become a People Dancing member online.
