Coordinator and volunteers wanted!
Helfa Gelf Cyfyngedig is an innovative organisation, that has achieved amazing things with the funding we have raised to run our projects.
We manage to do this because we have a truly amazing and very dedicated bunch of volunteers from each county that support us with coordination, distribution, exhibitions, our brochure as well as the admin tasks that come with running a company.
Would you like to get involved? We are always looking for new people to support our work, who want some experience with events management or simply believe in what we do and want to help. Maybe you have ideas about how we can improve what we do or other things you could see us supporting? Maybe you have a particular expertise you think we could benefit from? We would love to hear from you and have you on board!
We currently only have enough funding to support a short term part time coordination contract. Dawn Worsely did a fantastic job coordinating the Open Studios event , residencies and exhibitions last year, but unfortunately she has moved away. The contracts runs from 1st May to 31st December 2016 and you would need to commit roughly 3 days a week. The job comes with a “buy-out” fee, rather than a wage. You would gain experience in managing and coordinating exhibitions, residencies and the Open Studios. You would also be in charge of budgeting and marketing the event.
