The Arts Disability network weekend showcased and celebrated the best in disability arts and inclusive arts from Wales, the UK and around the world, promoting positive images of disability and social inclusion to audiences..

DAC’s Unusual Stage School were invited to perform “Remote Exit” a play by Meredydd Barker, in the Pillar room at Wexford Arts Centre.

Members of the Unusual Stage School also gave individual performances at the Cabaret evening in Whites Hotel; it was an evening of music, readings, comedy, Dance and film. Celebrating cultural diversity in Disability Arts, featuring artists and performers from Wexford, Wales and Sweden

Our West Wales field Officer Rachel Stelmach gave a Festival Equality training session, which offered essential information for festival organisers.

It was great to be invited to participate in the weekend and network with other Disability Arts organisations such as the MB Rockers Sweden, Arts Disability Ireland, Celf o Gwmpas and the Killagoley Training & Activation Centre – KTAC.
