Film, Dance & Buffet

Maesteg Town Hall

Tickets £5

For all the details please go to – strictly cinema

The next film is a recent Welsh gem ‘Dark Horse’. It’s a documentary, but shot in a very cinematic style with a story that grips as it is real and rooted in the Welsh valleys. It is about a community that nurtures a horse to take on the racing giants from aristocratic stock…the English.

We encourage everyone to purchase at least one raffle ticket at the event to help subsidise the cost of the buffet and at the same time stand a chance to win two tickets to the next screening.

Also at the event we are tying into a heritage project running in the Llynfi Valley attempting to gather the rich stories of people that grew up in the valley. If you or anyone you know would like to share with us young Brogan will again be at the next event with her audio recorder to capture stories.

Lastly, the dancing is really taking off with more and more venturing onto the sprung dance floor. Thank you to Hedd for the expert and fun facilitation.

Many thanks and please remember to book in advance as usual, so that Paula knows how much food to prepare. To book please phone 01656 733700 or visit www.maestegtownhall.com

Need transport? Phone Bridgend Community Transport on 01656 669665

See you at the movies with your dancing shoes on!
